Your complete GatherBridge tour Demonstration: fictional people and data; illustrative screen transitions. Welcome to GatherBridge. Create a group, organise events and find your next role. These are fictional, read-only demonstration screens. Choose Create account. One personal account connects your groups and events; joining a group is a separate choice. Enter your display name, email and a password of at least twelve characters. Select Create account, then follow any confirmation instructions shown. Your Dashboard brings upcoming events and roles together. After signup, watch the optional tour or choose Skip for now. On a phone, use Menu to find My groups, Events, Calendar and help. Your notifications remain close at hand. Open My groups, then expand Create a group. Enter its name and choose the group type. Choose how people take roles and an optional starting template. Add contact, payment and WhatsApp details in the group settings so its events can reuse them. After creating a group, you are its owner. The group page highlights the next event and your role, with Events, Members, About and Settings in tabs. In Settings, create a group invitation and choose its validity, from one day to twelve weeks. Share the current link or Q R code privately. Open Events and Create an event. Follow the five short steps. Start with the host and event type. Add sessions only when you need separately scheduled parts. In Details, enter a title, venue, date and start and end times. Add an end date only if the event continues into another day. In Roles, choose a suitable template, such as speaking roles, Participants, custom roles or no roles. Event roles do not grant admin permissions. More options contains guest access, repeats and role safeguards. One role per person is the default; choose two, three or a custom limit when needed. In Sharing, keep the event private or choose public visibility and its city. Public events appear on What’s on after publishing. Review the summary and create the draft. A draft does not open participation or send invitations. In the saved draft, open Manage and check Review and publish. Choose Publish event when ready. For an event with sessions, publish each ready session too. Open Share invitation slash Q R on the published event. Reuse its current invitation link and code. Copy WhatsApp message prepares the event invitation text. Paste it into your own conversation when you are ready; GatherBridge does not send it for you. Open the group invitation or scan its Q R code. Use the Sign in or Create account button if prompted, then confirm that you want to join. If you have a code instead, open My groups, expand Join a group, enter the private invitation code and select Join group. The group page highlights the next event. Use the Events tab for upcoming meetings and the filters for past events. Joining a group does not reserve a role. Open the event invitation and sign in. Group membership and event-only guest participation are separate choices. On a guest-enabled event, choose Join event without group membership. You can take part without joining the group. This step does not claim a role. Open Roles, then Available to find free places. Use search to find a role or person. Self-selection confirms a successful claim; requests and offers follow the event’s approval rules. Use Your roles to see your commitments. If your plans change, choose Withdraw promptly so someone else can take the place. A confirmed plan is separate from recorded completion. Dashboard and Calendar combine commitments across groups. Check notifications for changes and reminders. Help and the frequently asked questions explain shortcuts, updates and common problems. Find these guides on How it works. The frequently asked questions explain home screen shortcuts and updates. Share the real invitation separately when you invite someone to join.
