Watch the full tour or choose just the step you need. Each video has a clear voiceover and captions, and can be downloaded for a presentation or shared on WhatsApp.
Demonstration data and fictional people are used throughout. The videos explain the workflow; they do not create accounts, memberships or bookings for you.

Browse public events, open an invitation link, scan the organiser's QR code or enter the invitation code. Sign in or create your account. Opening an invitation does not join anything automatically.
For a group invitation, choose to join as a member. For an event invitation, choose the available event-only or group-joining option.
2. Choose your involvement
Review the event time, venue, admission requirements and roles. Guest-enabled events let you take part without joining the group.
Choose a direct-selection role to confirm it, request an approval role, or accept or decline an organiser's offer. The organiser's role allowance applies separately to each person.
Open Roles and use Available, Your rolesor search to find a place. Details holds practical information;People holds your named guests.
3. Keep track and show up
Your group shows the next event and your role above its tabs. Dashboard and Calendar combine your commitments across groups. Check the notification bell for changes and in-app reminders.
Add a participant note, download the agenda and review the joining details. If your plans change, withdraw from your role or cancel the appropriate registration before it closes.
Bringing someone with you?
If guests are enabled, your guest can use their own account, or you can add a named guest and reserve eligible roles for them. Each named guest has a separate role allowance; their roles do not count as your personal completed contributions.
Named guests can receive simple no-ticket or RSVP admission where allowed. Personal tickets and required document acknowledgements need the guest's own account. Check admission separately from role allocation.
FOR ORGANISERS
Make it easy for people to say yes.
1. Create your group
Choose a name, group type and allocation policy. Add an optional role template, or create your own roles. A sports group can start with player slots; a speaking club can use the fourteen-slot speaking template.
Owners and managers can organise events. Event roles never grant group management permission.
2. Create and publish an event
Follow Type → Details → Roles → Sharing → Review. Choose the host, category and event type. Keep Add sessions off for a normal meeting or game; turn it on for separately scheduled or bookable parts.
Enter the date once, then Starts and Ends. Choose an explicit role template or No roles. The role limit starts at one per person, or one per session for events with sessions. Use More options for guest settings, a different limit, repeats and organiser information. Create the draft, check it, then publish. A draft does not open participation.
3. Invite and coordinate
Open Share invitation / QR to reuse the current link, QR or code. Choose Copy WhatsApp message and send it yourself. Close sharing or press Escape to return to your work. Organisers can set 1–84 days, replace or revoke an invitation.
Published single events open at Roles for organisers; events with sessions open at Sessions. Use Needs attention for requests and offers. Multi-session management opens at Roster. Print the agenda or download Excel, then record actual completion after the event.
Payment instructions, WhatsApp and cancellation
You can show manual payment instructions, bank details, an external payment link and a WhatsApp group invitation QR. These are organiser-supplied information; GatherBridge does not verify a transfer or automatically admit someone because they paid externally.
For cancellations, use the event's organiser controls. Future active allocations and admissions are handled according to their context, while past history is retained. Automatic outbound cancellation messages and integrated refunds are not operating features.
Find your way around
One tap back to your plans
On a phone, open Menu for Dashboard, My groups, Calendar and help. The notification bell stays visible. The GatherBridge name and Home link return you to the main page.
Find something nearby
On What’s on, choose a category, city and When. More filters holds exact dates and nearby distance. Location access is optional; you can choose a city in another country instead.
Keep an app shortcut
Add GatherBridge to your home screen for quick access. Use the same account. After an update is published, save your work and reload or reopen online. There is no app-store update to download.
Joining a group makes you a member. Registering for an event gives you that event's participation or admission. Taking a role gives you a specific job or place in the event. An event ticket and its personal QR are separate from a shared invitation.
Guest access lets someone take part without group membership, subject to the organiser's settings. Actual participation currently requires sign-in, or an existing participant can manage a named guest reservation.
